Description

ESKOM/Murray & Roberts – February 2011 - An elaborate undertaking over 400 kms from Jhb in Lephalala became reality at which it was proudly shown that the R120billion Medupi Power Station is well on its way to being fully functional. All top ministerial dignatories graced the massive event at which we proudly displayed the hi tec flooring systems that really turned the raw state of mud and sand floors into a ballroom atmosphere.

In conjunction withy Décor-D-Zign we had the privilege of providing a marquee floor for Consul Glass at their new factory site in Nigel. This was an extreme challenge as it was raw graded soil, that the hi tec polyurethane maple flooring covered, making it look like a high class ballroom inside the marquee! As a result Consul had an amazing roofwetting to their new warehousing complex.

Call of the Wild!! We were beckoned to a 5 Star Game Lodge in Bela Bela to supply a floor, in a bedoiun marquee for one of their top fight pharmaceutical clients. As the pics show the site before and after – we are proud to say that the overall accomplishment and effect of the end product as it laid, was nothing short of sensational. The compliments from the establishment and the client were unabounding, and a truly great event went by under the starlit skies in the rain drenched bushveld. On the chilliest night of the year this celebration found itself in the pink, in an elaborately decorated marquee, in the heart of Johburg. Warmed by courtesy of stainless steel patio heaters, and the exquisite hospitality, catering and parental dance troupes on display, the youngsters present were overwhelmed by the talent of the parents they barely knew could move...let alone cabaret!!!! Presidential Inauguration 2009

Description

Despite some heavy downpours at the outset, the 9th May proved to be a most memorable event for our company. We were priveleged to be appointed as the furniture suppliers for the entire Amphitheatre location, and the massive move of some 7000 seats took place. This involved 2 link and 10 eight ton vehicles, and logistically was a monumental affair. Our sincere thanks to Leratomooka who project managed so well, and to our superb support teams who coordinated the movement in and out. We look forward to being of service at the next one!

A N C Conference Polokwane 2007

Description

The biggest marquee ever commissioned housed delegates at this landmark event from 12th to 22nd December. Chairscape was the appointed furniture supplier to the entire conference which encompassed not only the 50x105m main marquee, but also the dining and various other structures erected at the University. This was a mammoth function in every respect and we take this opportunity to thank Asiboni Mbala who managed the project with astute perfection, from A to Z.

See her flanked by her two South African head honchos, Sammy and Jason, bottom right. Description

9th and 10th October 2005. This was the largest event of its kind ever undertaken in Africa and raised an amazing amount of funds for the Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund. Featuring Christina Aguillera, Westlife, Dianna Ross and a host of other international stars, it seated 3500 high profile guests, at 350 round banqueting tables. A truly amazing sight to behold. Nothing went short of perfection, and all accolades to The Dome Banqueting for their putting it all together so very professionally.
